What We Offer
One Week Day Camp - July 27-31
Join us for a summer farm adventure!
We will meet daily to tend to many farm animals, including horses, cows, pigs, goats, chickens, and more...
Come explore acres of farmland and forest on the magical Deck Family Farm!
In addition to animal time, our week includes a combination of the following activities:
water play, fort building, songs, stories, crafts, and games.

“Despite the Deck Family Farm being a grand 320 acres, during my past two years as a camp counselor I have been astounded by how small everything feels. Compared to my five-year-old self, every animal, contraption and field that make up this magical world feel miniature. I feel so incredibly grateful to experience some of my favorite childhood memories at the Deck Family Farm. I can still vividly remember playing hide and go seek in the hay bales, holding baby kittens, milking baby cows and riding horses.
This experience gave so much meaning to the simple joys of life and allowed me to gain endless perspectives on the cooperation it takes to grow an abundant community. I now have the amazing opportunity to give back to this community as a camp counselor. I could not be more grateful for this role as it has allowed me to re-live the magic of my childhood and learn new skills that will benefit me for the rest of my life.”

“Growing up, I constantly felt surrounded by a magical, joy-filled atmosphere. Whether that be in school, at home or especially at farm camp during the summer. Every year since I was 2 years old, I have looked forward to that one blissful week in summer spent on the farm. Getting to spend all day playing with puppies, adventuring in the river and through the blackberry bushes, sneaking through the hay bales and nuzzling the small, soft chicks was like stepping into a whole new world.
From riding on Miss Heather’s back to being the one carrying tired kids on my own back, the magic of the farm has never left. I am endlessly grateful that after thinking my time at farm camp was over, I get to return every year to help keep the magic alive and give children the amazing experiences that I once had!”

It’s such a treat to watch the children relax their bodies and unfold their imaginations as they explore this beautiful land among all its inhabitants!
The wide range of the children's ages in addition to middle school helpers provides a wonderful family feel. The littles are delighted by the attention of the olders while the older children sink into the sweetness of sharing their experience with the little ones. There are age appropriate activities for all! Multiple young adult, farm veteran assistants as well as trained Waldorf teachers provide a warm ratio of hands to hold, eyes to watch and attention to give.
